Shopping, sharing, shrinking – what do they have in common this week?

This week I ask a question – I’ve done shopping, sharing and shrinking what do these activities have in common?

Clothes.

I know, a weird topic but let me explain. I receive my salary (wages etc.) weekly. Quite a nice sum, but still by the time I’m sitting here, I’m broke, three clothing shorter and somehow my work shoes for tomorrow not available for show? How, you ask my lovely reader? Well, I happen to live with my sister. With only 2 years apart we pretty much share everything except the intimates – undies and bras, we even have the same shoe size. Just adorable right? No.

So to start of the week. I gave back all the money I owe her for since the beginning of the year, even though she hasn’t paid back a dime for any of the money she owes me. Now I’m broke because I did the groceries, shopping for myself and my hobbies – i.e: photos, painting, sketching, reading etc.

screen-shot-2016-11-01-at-14-32-40We share clothes because we have similar taste in clothes, though we do wear them completely differently. So the new shoes I just bought last week is being booked by my sister for tomorrow – so I’ll probably borrow hers, right? I cycle, she walks, her shoes does not support my lifestyle – so I’ll have to bring a change of shoes as well.

I have a cold from last week, I mentioned in my last post, and I would like to wear the warm sweater, but she washed it and now they’ve all shrunk!! Like the last time she washed them she shrunk them and the time before that, and now this time she washed all the sweaters and have sadly shrunk all of them…My life!

So now I’m beginning my week, shoeless, sweater-less, and moneyless until midweek. Bleh.

If you’re beginning to suspect that I’m bipolar, I’m sorry, not true. I have wanted to rant all day, so this is it. I know positivity is the key so here are my tips to regain your balance when things just build up!

  1. For every one thing that annoyed you today, think about two more things that you are grateful for. Me and my sister went to this library with great architecture and spent half the day sketching!
  2. For every annoying thing that happens make sure to do something that will make you happy. Web site building meeting for an Arts event that is happening in Dublin this week!
  3. Before you sleep make sure to end the day happy no matter what! After all a night spent frustrated and angry will not make you a happy camper – is that how the saying goes? (no, I know – just wanted to put it in there.)

Alright I think I will end this here. Sorry for the rant like long post. If you don’t like these types of post tell me, or you can tell me if you like it and I will continue these long posts too.

Ciao!
Artdramaeco.
